【TBT】<p>Products covered:&nbsp; Animal and vegetable fats and oils (ICS: 67.200.10).</p><p>This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:<br />The Ministerial Decree No. 256/2016 that gives producers and importers a six-month transitional period to comply with Egyptian standard ES No. 49-2/2016&nbsp;&nbsp; "Olive Oils and Olive Pomace Oils" (15 pages, in Arabic).</p><p>Egyptian standard ES No. 49-2/2016 supersedes ES No. 49-2/2005 that has already been mandated since 2005 by the Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005.</p><p>Egyptian standard ES 49-2/2016 "Olive Oils and Olive Pomace Oils" complies with CODEX STAN 33-1981, Adopted in 1981.
