【TBT】Products covered: Glass - Glass in building (ICS 81.040.20)  This addendum concerns the notification to Abide by the following Egyptian standards: - ES 1948-4 "glass in building – laminated glass and laminated safety glass - Part 4: test methods for durability" (18 pages, in Arabic), - ES 1948-6 "glass in building - laminated glass and laminated safety glass - part 6: Appearance" (11 pages, in Arabic). The Egyptian standard ES 1948-4 and Egyptian standard ES 1948-6 cancel and supersedes the Egyptian standard ES 1948/2005 which were formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic). Worth mentioning is that these standards comply with ISO 12543-4/2011 and ISO 12543-6/2011. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.  Proposed date of adoption: to be determined. 【TBT】Products covered: Crayons and oil pastels - Miscellaneous domestic and commercial equipment ICS: 97.180 This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 1098/2016 (1 page, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 4562/2016 "Crayons and oil pastels" (21 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic). Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with JIS S 6026/2007. 【TBT】Products covered: Edible Fats and Oil (67.200.10) This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation: The Ministerial Decree No. 1111 /2016 (1 pages, in Arabic) that gives producers and importers a six months transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8041/2016 "Edible fats and oils not covered by individual standards" (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified as a draft in G/TBT/N/EGY/89 dated 21 August 2015. Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with Codex Standard No. 19/2013 for Edible Fats and Oils Not Covered by Individual Standards Bailey's Industrial Oil and Fat Products (volume 1) sixth edition (2005) Ministerial Decree No. 515 /2005. Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with ISO 5151:2010 and Egyptian Standard ES 4814.
