【TBT】Products covered: Air-conditioners (ICS: 23.120; 27.080). This addendum concerns the notification of the Draft of part two of the Egyptian Standard ES3795-2 "Energy efficiency label requirements for air conditioner, Part 2: Variable capacity room air conditioner (window – split) with variable speed compressor" (20 pages, in Arabic). Worth mentioning is that ES 3795 "energy efficiency label for room air conditioner" will be comprised of 7 parts to replace the ES 3795/2005 which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/68 dated 3 June 2014, mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 180/2003 (3 pages, in Arabic). Worth mentioning is that this draft complies with ISO 5151:2010 and Egyptian Standard ES 4814. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
