This addendum concerns the notification of the Draft of part two of the Egyptian Standard ES3795-2 "Energy efficiency label requirements for air conditioner, Part 2: Variable capacity room air conditioner (window – split) with variable speed compressor" (20 pages, in Arabic).
Worth mentioning is that ES 3795 "energy efficiency label for room air conditioner" will be comprised of 7 parts to replace the ES 3795/2005 which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/68 dated 3 June 2014, mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 180/2003 (3 pages, in Arabic).
Worth mentioning is that this draft complies with ISO 5151:2010 and Egyptian Standard ES 4814.

Energy efficiency label for air conditioners (ICS : 23.120; 27.080)

This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulations:
Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) gives the producers and importers a transitional period of six months to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 336-1/2017 "Carbonated Beverages - part 1: General " (9 pages, in Arabic).
Egyptian standard ES 336-1/2017 supersedes Egyptian standard No. ES 336-1/2005, that has already been mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 130/2005 since 2005, which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
Date of adoption: 13 July 2017.

This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:
Ministerial Decree No.1000/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) gives producers and importers a transitional period of six months to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 21-1/2017 "Lead acid starter batteries part 1: general requirements and methods of test" (33 pages, in Arabic).
It is worth mentioning that Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others the earlier version of this Egyptian standard.
Worth mentioning is that this standard is identical to IEC 60095 -1/2006 "Lead-acid starter batteries – Part 1: General requirements and methods of test"

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 1000/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 7824/2015 "Tubular Led Lamps – Performance Requirements" (44 pages, in English)
It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 692/2015 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/118 dated 15 February, 2016 mandated among others the earlier version of this standard.
Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with IEC 62612 "Self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting services with supply voltages > 50 V - Performance requirements" and IEC 60081 "Double-capped fluorescent lamps - Performance specifications".
