【TBT】Products covered: Fish and fishery Products (ICS 67.120.30) This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:   Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the following Egyptian Standards: Egyptian Standard ES 287/2017 on "canned sardine" (12 pages in Arabic). Egyptian Standard ES1521/2017 on "Canned Finfish "(11 pages in Arabic). Egyptian Standard ES 3495/2017 on "quick frozen fish products breaded and/or in batter" (11 pages in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others earlier versions of those standards. Worth mentioning is that these standards comply with: Codex STAN 94 -1981: "Sardines and Sardine-Type Products" Rev. 1-1995. Codex STAN 119 – 1981 : "Canned finfish" Rev. 1995 Amendment: 2011, 2013, 2016. Codex STAN 166 – 1989 "Standard for Quick Frozen Fish Sticks (Fish Fingers), Fish Portions and Fish Fillets - Breaded or in Batter" adopted in 1989. revision: 1995, 2004. amendments: 2011, 2013, 2014. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. 【TBT】Products covered: Prepackaged and prepared foods Including baby food (ICS 67.230)   This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:   Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3284/2017 "Processed Cereal -Based Foods For Infants And Young Children" (15 Pages, In Arabic)   Worth mentioning is that Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others the earlier version of this standard.   Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with Codex Standard. No. 74/1981, Rev.1-2006 Standard for "Processed Cereal-Based Foods for Infants and Young Children" Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. This addendum concerns the notification of Draft Egyptian standard ES 4759 "Dentistry — Patient chair" (14 pages, in Arabic) which modifies the current Egyptian Standard ES 4759"Dentistry — Patient chair". The Egyptian Standard ES 4759"Dentistry — Patient chair" was mandated among others by Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005(25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005. Worth mentioning is that this draft standard complies with ISO 6875/2011"Dentistry-patient chair".
