【TBT】Products covered: Milk and processed milk products Including dried milk, condensed milk and evaporated milk (ICS 67.100.10) This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:   Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 154-2/2017 "Milk And Its Products Part 2 :Cream And Prepared Creams" (11 pages, in Arabic) .   It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others an earlier version of this standard.   Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with Codex STAN No. 288/ (1976) “Cream and prepared creams", Revision 2003, 2008. Amendment 2010. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. 【TBT】Products covered: Glass in building (ICS:81.040.20), Glass and ceramics industries (Vocabularies) (ICS:01.040.81)   This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:   Ministerial Decree No.1000/2017( 2 pages, in Arabic) gives producers and importers a transitional period of six months to abide by : 1- Egyptian Standard ES 1948-1:2017" glass in building - laminated glass and laminated safety glass part 1: definitions and description of component parts" (13 pages, in Arabic). 2- Egyptian Standard ES 353-1:2017 " Glass in building - Basic soda lime silicate glass products – Part4: Drawn sheet glass" (13 pages, in Arabic).   It is worth mentioning that Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others the earlier versions of these Egyptian standard.   Worth mentioning is that these standards comply with ISO 12543-1/2011 and- EN 572-4/2012 respectively . 【TBT】Products covered: Fish and fishery Products (ICS 67.120.30)   This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:   Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the following Egyptian standards: - Egyptian Standard ES 414-1/2017 "Canned Shrimps and Canned Crab Meat- part 1: Canned Shrimps" (10 pages in Arabic). - Egyptian Standard ES 414-2/2017 "Canned Shrimps and Canned Crab meat – part 2: Canned Crab meat " (10 pages, in Arabic). Which were formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/34 dated 30 April 2013, mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 93/2013 (4 pages, in Arabic).   Worth mentioning is that these standards comply with: Codex STAN 37-1991 "Standard for Canned Shrimps or Prawns" adopted in 1991. revised: 1995. amended: 2011, 2013, 2016. Codex Stan 90-1981 "Canned crab meat" adopted in 1981. Revised in: 1995, Amended in: 2011, 2013, 2016 Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
