This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:
Ministerial Decree No. 1000/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 7800 "Tubular LED Lamps -Safety Requirements" (34 pages, in Arabic)
It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 692/2015 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/117 dated 15 February 2016 mandated among others the earlier version of this standard.
Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with IEC/ FDIS 62776/2014 "Double-capped LED lamps designed to retrofit linear fluorescent lamps - Safety specifications"
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation:
Ministerial Decree No.1002/2017(3 pages, in Arabic) gives producers and importers a transitional period of six months to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 164 with its issued parts:
ES 164-1-1 / 2017 Domestic Cooking Appliances Burning Gas Part: 1-1: Safety- General (161 pages, in Arabic).
ES 164-1-2 / 2017 Domestic Cooking Appliances Burning Gas Part 1-2: Safety-Appliances Having Forced-Convection Ovens and/or Grills (18 pages, in Arabic).
ES 164-2-1 / 2017 Domestic Cooking Appliances Burning Gas – Part 2-1: Rational Use of Energy - General (11 pages, in English).
It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others earlier versions of those standards.
Worth mentioning is that these standards comply with and identical to EN 30-1-1, EN 30-1-2, EN 30-2-1.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by Egyptian Standards ES 718,612 "Blended Tobacco For Cigarettes" (8 pages in Arabic) which were subjected to partial amendments.
Worth mentioning is that Ministerial Decree No.130/2005 (11 pages, in Arabic) notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others the earlier versions of those standards.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
