【TBT】Products covered: ICS 67.220.10 (Spices and condiments) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 403/2018 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 131 "Dehydrated Onion" (10 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decrees No. 93/2013 (4 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/34 dated 30 April 2013, mandated among others the earlier version of the Egyptian Standard. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with ISO 5559/ 2012 for Dehydrated Onion (Allium cepa Linnaeus) Specification. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. 【TBT】Products covered: Tobacco, tobacco products and related equipment (ICS: 65.160) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 403/2018 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 2063 "essential requirements and descriptive criteria of Fruit Flavored Meassel Tobacco" (1 page, in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 130/2005 which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005, mandated among others the earlier version of this standard. Worth mentioning is that This Egyptian standard has been partially modified in the following items: 1- Pure glycerin must be added without exceeding forty fractions per (100 fractions) of tobacco. 2- Addition of New item. In Packaging and labeling texts on "List of Ingredients (tobacco- glycerin- honey- flavor additives)" Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. 【TBT】Products covered: Petroleum products in general (ICS : 75.080) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 477/2018 (3 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3479 "unleaded gasoline 80, 90, 92, 95 octane" (1 page, in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard. Worth mentioning is that This Egyptian standard has been partially modified in Item.5 (Physical and chemical properties), and it is identical with ASTM D 4814 / 2004. Worth mentioning is that this draft standard is technically identical with European directive (EU) No. 1062/2010.
