【TBT】Products covered: ICS 67.100.99 (other milk products) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 403/2018 (2 pages, in Arabic) that cancels the Egyptian Standard ES 154-8 "Milk and Dairy Products Part 8: Local –Natural Buffalo Butterfat" (9 pages, in Arabic).   It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of this Egyptian Standard.   Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.   Proposed date of adoption: 9 May 2018 Proposed date of entry into force: 24 June 2018   Agency or authority designated to handle comments and text available from: National Enquiry Point Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality 16 Tadreeb El-Modarrebeen St., Ameriya, Cairo – Egypt E-mail: eos@idsc.net.eg/eos.tbt@eos.org.eg Website: http://www.eos.org.eg Tel: + (202) 22845528 Fax: + (202) 22845504

【TBT】Products covered: ICS 67.060 (Cereals, pulses and derived products)   This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 654/2018 (2 pages, in Arabic) which extends the transitional period for the entry into force of clause No. 4/3/1 on ”Percentage of the moisture content shall be not more than 13.5% (by weight)" in the Egyptian Standard ES 1601-1/2010 until 3 April 2019.   It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 163/2010 (1 page, in Arabic) mandated the Egyptian Standard ES 1601-1/2010 and was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/28 dated 21 June 2010.   Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with: - ISO 7970-2000 "Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) - Specification". - Codex Stan 199-1995 "Wheat and Durum Wheat"   Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders/decrees in the official gazette.   Proposed date of adoption: 4 August 2018.
