【TBT】Products covered: (ICS 97.080) Cleaning appliances This addendum concerns the notification of a Draft modification of Egyptian standard ES 8057 "Energy efficiency of household electrical appliances Methods for measuring and calculating energy efficiency of vacuum cleaners" (17 pages, in Arabic) (The modification concerns the size of the label). It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 1002/2017 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/173 dated 10 January 2018 mandated among others the earlier version of this standard. Furthermore, the Ministerial Decree No. 477/2018 which extended the transitional period was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/173/Add.1 dated 4 September 2018.   Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with: IEC 62885-2/2016, Regulation (EU) No 665/2013   Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.   Proposed date of adoption: To be determined. 【TBT】Products covered: ICS 25.220.50 (enamels) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 478/2018 (3 pages, in Arabic) that cancels the following Egyptian Standards: ES 234-1 "standard methods of testing for enamel - part (1): Guide to selection of test methods for vitreous and porcelain enameled areas of articles" (28 pages, in Arabic). ES 234-2 "standard methods of testing for enamel - part (2): Production of specimens for testing enamels on sheet steel, sheet aluminum and cast iron" (8 pages, in Arabic). ES 234-3 "standard methods of testing for enamel - part (3): Determination of resistance to chemical corrosion by boiling acids, boiling neutral liquids and/or their vapors" (26 pages, in Arabic). ES 234-4 "standard methods of testing for enamel part (4): production of test specimens for aluminium" (8 pages, in Arabic).
