This addendum concerns the notification of Draft of the Egyptian standard ES 3123-3 "Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements" (56 pages, in Arabic).
It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No.758/2008 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/16/Add.1 dated 3 March 2015, mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard.
Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with EN 71-3:2013+A3:2018.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 102/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the following Egyptian Standards:
ES 1577 "Crystal glass"(18 pages, in Arabic).
ES 4759 "Dentistry – Patient chair" (14 pages, in Arabic).
ES 1661-2 "dentistry- manual toothbrushes- resistance of tufted portion to deflection" (16 pages, in English).
It should be noted that:
The Egyptian Standards ES 1577 and ES 4759 in their draft form have been notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.17 dated 9 January 2019 and G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.11 dated 10 January 2018
Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of the Egyptian Standard ES 1661-2.
Worth mentioning is that:
The Standard ES 1577 complies with BS 3828.
The Standard ES 4759 is technically identical with ISO 7494-1:2018.
The Standard ES 1661-2 adopts the technical content of ISO 22254:2005.

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.102/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 4814 " Non-ducted air conditioners and heat pumps - Testing and rating for performance " (78 pages, in English).
It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 371/2013 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/39 dated 10 September 2013 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard.
Worth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of ISO 5151/2017.

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 100/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the following Egyptian Standards:
ES 336-1 "Carbonated Beverages - part 1: General" (partial amendment in 1 page, in Arabic).
ES 416-1 “Biscuits and Methods of Analysis and Testing Part 1: Biscuits” (11 pages, in Arabic).
ES 1522 “Frozen meat” (11 pages, in Arabic).
It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 130/2005 (11 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005 and the relevant Addenda mandated among others the earlier versions of these Egyptian Standards.
It is worth noting that:
The Egyptian Standard ES 336-1 has been formulated according to National Studies and its updates. It has been partially modified in the following items:
Delete the clause 3/4/3 Salmonella in 25 ml.
Item 5/2/1 add the name of the product is a carbonated drink according to item (2/1), and if fruit juice is added less than 10%, it may be added to the data (natural fruit juice is added), If fruit juice is added more than 10% the product is called carbonated drink - carbonated water (soda water) according to item (2/2).
The Egyptian Standard ES 416-1 is identical with GSO Standard No. 989/2016 for Biscuits.
The Egyptian Standard ES 1522 is technically identical with Council Regulation (EEC) No 2377/90.
