【TBT】Products covered: Glass products (ICS 81.040.30) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 103/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8212 "Thermally toughened glass panels for use in domestic appliance" (15 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 8212 was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/208 dated 9 January 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with BS 3193. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Proposed date of adoption: 7 February 2019. Proposed date of entry into force: 7 March 2019. It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 8206 "Fish Oils" was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/206 dated 9 January 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with - Codex Stan. 329/2017 "Fish Oils". 【TBT】Products covered: Tissue paper (ICS 85.080.20) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 102/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a twelve-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standards ES 3863 "diapers for children and adult" (19 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 3863 was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/204 dated 9 January 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard has been formulated according to National studies and its updates. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
