【TBT】Products covered: Cleaning appliances (ICS: 97.080) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.102/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8057 "Energy efficiency of household electrical appliances Methods for measuring and calculating energy efficiency of vacuum cleaners" (17 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 8057 was notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/173/Add.2 dated 15 October 2018. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with modification with IEC 62885-2/2016, Regulation (EU) No 665/2013. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Proposed date of adoption: 7 February 2019. Proposed date of entry into force: 7 March 2019. 【TBT】Products covered: Toys (ICS 97.200.50) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.102/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3123-1 "Safety of toys – Part1: Mechanical and physical properties" (146 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 1308/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/164/Add.1 dated 21 February 2018, mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard. Worth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of EN 71-1:2014. 【TBT】Products covered: Non-alcoholic Beverages (ICS: 67.160.20) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 100/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1765 "Non-Alcoholic Barley Drink" (partial amendment in 1 page, in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 130/2005 which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005, and Ministerial Decree No. 256/2016 which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/93/Add.1 dated 15 August 2016 mandated among others the earlier versions of this Standard. Worth mentioning is that this standard has been partially modified in the following items: Delete the clause 3/11/2 Salmonella in 25 ml.
