【TBT】Products covered: Chemicals for industrial and domestic disinfection purposes (ICS 71.100.35) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 103/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1654 for "glass liquid cleaner" (9 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 1654 was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/202 dated 9 January 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard is identical with modification with EEC 59/92, EEC 405/73, EEC 242/82, EEC 542/89, EEC 379/88. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Proposed date of adoption: 7 February 2019. Proposed date of entry into force: 7 March 2019.
