【TBT】Products covered: Products of the chemical industry (ICS: 71.100) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.1093/2019 (1 page, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8283 "Air freshener" (12 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/211 dated 10 May 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with KS 1669/2001, GS 659/2018. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. 【TBT】Products covered: ICS  29.140.99 (Other standards related to lamps) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.1095/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3939 "Lamp control gear particular requirements for a.c. supplied electronic control gear for fluorescent lamps" (184 pages, in English). It should be noted that the draft of this standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.23 dated 18 September 2019, furthermore the Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard, was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005. Worth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of IEC 61347‑2‑3:2011/AMD1:2016. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/224 dated 17 September 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard has been formulated according to National studies.  Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
