This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 173/2020 (1 page, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1007-2for "hard cheese - part: 2 cheddar cheese" (11 pages, in Arabic).
It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard, and its draft was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2/Add.14 dated 6 February 2020.
Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with CODEX STAN C-1/1966 Adopted in 1996. Revised in 2007. Amended in 2008, 2010, 2013, 2018, 2019.
Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of this Egyptian Standard, and its draft was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3/Add.28 dated 6 February 2020.
Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with ISO 1171/2010 (confirmed 2016)

Gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 8338 " mozzarella cheese " (10 pages, in Arabic)
Cancels the Egyptian Standard ES 1008-14 "soft cheese - part: 14 mozzarella cheese " (11 Pages, In Arabic).
It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 130/2005 (11 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of the Standard ES 1008-14, and its draft was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1/Add.11 dated 6 February 2020.
Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with CXS 262-2006 adopted in 2006, amended in 2010, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019 Codex stand for mozzarella.

Worth mentioning is that this Standard complies with CODEX STAN 309R-2011 "Regional Standard for Halwa Tehenia"
