Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard; DEAS 86:2024, Sesame (simsim) oil for cosmetic use — Specification, Third edition; notified in G/TBT/N/BDI/673, G/TBT/N/KEN/1920, G/TBT/N/RWA/1292, G/TBT/N/TZA/1437 and G/TBT/N/UGA/2256 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 30th June 2026 and published in the EAC Gazette Legal Notice No. EAC/177/2026 on 30th June 2026.
