Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard DEAS 1263:2025, Sweet potato seed — Requirements for certification, First Edition, notified in G/SPS/N/BDI/130, G/SPS/N/KEN/333, G/SPS/N/RWA/123, G/SPS/N/TZA/450 and G/SPS/N/UGA/440, was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 30 June 2026 and published in the EAC Gazette Legal Notice No. EAC/177/2026 on 30 June 2026.
