Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard; DEAS 1264:2025, Vegetable seed — Requirements for certification: Part 1 — cucurbit, First Edition; notified in G/TBT/N/BDI/598, G/TBT/N/KEN/1798, G/TBT/N/RWA/1195, G/TBT/N/TZA/1338 and G/TBT/N/UGA/2152 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 30th June 2026 and published in the EAC Gazette Legal Notice No. EAC/177/2026 on 30th June 2026.
