The aim of this addendum is to update WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard, DEAS 1190:2023, Handling, storage and transport of slaughterhouse by-products —Guidelines, First edition in G/TBT/N/BDI/448, G/TBT/N/KEN/1553, G/TBT/N/RWA/983, G/TBT/N/TZA/1084 and G/TBT/N/UGA/1898 was adopted by Uganda on 30 September 2025 as a Uganda Standard, US EAS 1190:2024 Handling, storage and transport of slaughterhouse by-products -Guidelines (1st Edition). The Standard can be purchased online through the link: https://webstore.unbs.go.ug/
