The aim of this addendum is to update WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard, DEAS 1186:2023, Edible insects — Specification, First edition in G/TBT/N/BDI/444, G/TBT/N/KEN/1549, G/TBT/N/RWA/979, G/TBT/N/TZA/1080 and G/TBT/N/UGA/1894 was adopted by Uganda on 30 September 2025 as a Uganda Standard, US EAS 1186:2024 Edible insects -Specification (1st Edition). The Standard can be purchased online through the link: https://webstore.unbs.go.ug/
