This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 246 /2025 (5 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian StandardES 7670 "Childcare articles - Baby walking frames - Safety requirements and test methods" (64 pages, in English).

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 134/2014 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/66 dated 13 May 2014 and the Ministerial Decree No. 609/2020 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/66/Add.1 dated 30 March 2021, mandated among others the earlier versions of this Egyptian standard.

Worth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of EN 1273:2020+A1:2023.

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

Proposed date of adoption: 11 August 2025.

Proposed date of entry into force: The day following the date of publication in the official gazette.
