This addendum concerns the notification of draft of the Egyptian Standard ES 612 for "Blended Tobacco For Cigarettes" (9 pages, in Arabic).

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No.130/2005 (11 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005 and the Ministerial Decree No. 1001/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1/Add.3 dated 10 January 2018 and the Ministerial Decree No. 143 /2024 (1 page, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1/Add.25 dated 29 May 2024, mandated among others the earlier versions of this Standard.

Worth mentioning is that this draft standard has been formulated according to National Studies.

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
