This Tanzania Standard describes the hygiene requirements for the processing of poultry intended for human consumption whether by direct sale or through further processing. It covers all poultry species, poultry carcasses, poultry parts and other edible offal which have not been treated in any way to ensure their preservation except that they may have been chilled or frozen.
