The Ministerial Decree No. 446/2024 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 3018-2 which applies to granular sturgeon caviar of the fish of the Acipenseridae family.

Worth mentioning is that this standard has been formulated according to National Studies.
