The Ministerial Decree No. 446/2024 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 3018-1 which applies to granular sturgeon caviar of the fish of the Acipenseridae family.

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with Codex Standard No. 291/2010 amended in 2013,2018.
