The Ministerial Decree No. 499 /2023 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 2251 which includes the following:

General requirements for packing Saba dynamite in the form of bags or cartridges (as stated in item No. 2).
Special requirements for packaging dynamite according to the percentage of highly explosive liquid components it contains, the method of preparing the cartridges and bags, the way of packaging, and the type of outer packaging made of fiberboard.
Specifications of the cardboard box (as stated in item No. 5).

It is worth noting that this standard has been partially modified in Item (1) scope by adding “1.1 General requirements for packing bulk dynamite in the form of bags or cartridges”

Worth mentioning is that this standard has been formulated according to National Studies.
