This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 561/2022 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3570 "Cosmetics- perfumed liquids"(51 pages, in Arabic).

It should be noted that the draft of this standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/306/Add.1 dated 9 August 2022.

Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with EC No 1223/2009 of The European Parliament and of The Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

Proposed date of adoption: 17 November 2022

Proposed date of entry into force: 6 December 2022.
