This addendum concerns the notification of the draft of Egyptian Standard ES 6910 "Labelling of Detergents and Cleaning Products" (35 pages, in Arabic)

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 692/2015(3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/113 dated 7 December 2015 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard.

Worth mentioning is that this draft standard complies with the following:

- Regulation (EC) no 648/2004 of the European parliament and of the council on detergents

- Commission decision (eu) 2017/1218 on EU Ecolabel criteria for laundry detergents

- Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 - Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

- Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 - classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP)

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
