This addendum concerns the notification of the draft of Egyptian Standard ES 7090" uniform provisions concerning the approval of pneumatic tyres for motor vehicles and their trailers " (48 pages, in Arabic)

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 32/2010 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/23 dated 4 May 2010 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard.

Worth mentioning is that this draft standard is technically identical with Regulation No. 30 of the Economic Commission for Europe of the United Nations (UN/ECE) “Uniform provisions concerning the approval of pneumatic tyres for motor vehicles and their trailers”

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
