Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard; DEAS 377-2: 2021, Cosmetic and cosmetic products — Part 2: List of substances which cosmetic products must not contain except subject to the restrictions laid down, Third Edition; notified in G/TBT/N/BDI/146, G/TBT/N/RWA/525, G/TBT/N/TZA/635 and G/TBT/N/UGA/1435 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 24 February 2023.
