Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda would like to inform WTO Members that the Draft East African Standard; DEAS 377-1:2020, Cosmetics and cosmetic products — Part 1: List of substances prohibited in cosmetic, Third Edition; notified in G/TBT/N/BDI/145, G/TBT/N/RWA/524, G/TBT/N/TZA/634 and G/TBT/N/UGA/1434 was adopted by the East African Community Council of Ministers on 24 February 2023.
