The Ministerial Decree No. 394 /2022 mandates the Egyptian standard ES 8517 which specifies the sampling methods that have been developed to ensure that fair and valid sampling procedures are used when food is being tested for compliance with a particular standard.

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical to CAC/GL 50-2004 “General Guidelines On Sampling".
