The purpose of these regulations is to ensure that all controlled products produced, packed and offered for sale in Namibia, comply with the requirements set out herein, with the objective of achieving safe food for all and creating consumer confidence in the regulatory processes. These regulations apply to all controlled products produced, packed, or processed in the Republic of Namibia for commercial gain and intended human consumption.
