The Ministerial Decree No. 381/2022 gives manufacturers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the following percentages of lead :

- The percentage of lead in non-colored base paints do not exceed 100 parts per million (maximum).

The percentage of lead in colored paints do not exceed 5000 parts per million (maximum).
