The main text makes provisions for Application for a Compliance certificate before importing any of the above-mentioned products into Botswana. It further provides for recognition of compliance certificates from country of origin from a recognised body. Non-compliance to the regulation constitutes an offense punishable by Law. It also provides an appeals procedure in case of grievances. It gives the list of the regulated products together with the applicable standards. Please for more information see the regulations.
