This Uganda Standard establishes the principles of, and gives recommendations on the design and formulation of instructions for the use of consumer products with specific reference to electrical appliances. It is intended for committees preparing standards for consumer products, and product designers, manufacturers, technical writers or other people engaged in the work of conceiving and drafting such instructions. It also guides consumers and traders of electrical items on the instructions used on these items.
