This proposed specification covers the requirements for replacement brake lining assemblies and drum brake linings for power driven vehicles and their trailers. It applies to brake lining assemblies and drum brake lining assemblies for use on motor vehicles manufactured on, or after 1 January 2000 in the case of M, N and O category motor vehicles and on, or after 1 January 2013 in the case of L category motor vehicles.
