The notified Order establishes Togolese requirements for the manufacture, entry, circulation, holding, importation, sale, and free distribution of reinforcing bars and their physical and mechanical characteristics. Article 2 of the Order establishes the diameter in millimetres of reinforcing bars produced, imported and sold in the Togolese Republic. Article 3 establishes the physical characteristics and permitted tolerances for the categories of reinforcing bars mentioned in Article 2. Article 4 establishes the permitted mechanical characteristics for all the categories of reinforcing bars mentioned in Article 2. The other articles establish conformity control methods and requirements for manufacturers and importers of reinforcing bars.
