This mandatory standard Kenyan standard specifies requirements for the safe handling and storage of industrial and medical gas cylinders for compressed, liquefied or dissolved gases that have a water capacity of 0,5 L to 150 L throughout the supply chain, to and from end users. It also includes undercover and open air conditions. Sites where gas cylinders are filled are specifically excluded. ; This standard excludes liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). ;
