This Kenya Standard specifies requirements and methods of test for butanone suitable for industrial ; This is the second edition of this standard and has put into consideration revision of parameters including the distillation range at 77oC to 81oC; refractive index to 1.370 to 1.380 since butanone is for Industrial use. The determination of color has been done using Lovibond Scale instead of platinum cobalt scale. ;
