This decree mandates that the  producers and importers of dry process boards (MDF must comply with ES 3578-3/2010.This Egyptian standard is concerned with the  requirements that must be met in medium density (MDF) wood fibreboards manufactured through the dry method and previously defined in  (EN 316) . Noting that  the values contained in this standard  are relevant to the characteristics of  the the product and are not the values for use in design calculationsWorth mentioning is that the Egyptian standard is in accordance with EN622 5 / 2006
