This decree mandates that the producers and importers of  hard boards must comply with  the requirements set in ES  3578-4/2006. This Egyptian standard is concerned with the  requirements that must be met in  hard boards and previously defined in  (EN 316) . Noting that  the values contained in this standard  are relevant to the  characteristics of  the product and  are not the values for use in design calculationsWorth mentioning is that the Egyptian standard is in accordance with EN 622-2/2004.
