This decree mandates that the producers and importers of liquefied gas cylinders must comply with ES 647 "LPG EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES-PROCEDURE FOR CHECKING LPG CYLINDERS BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER FILLING"The draft standard  amends the previous version of  Egyptian standard ES 647//2007 which is identical with minor modification to EN 1439/2008. Modification is prescribed in Annex C of Egyptian standard concerning additional requirements for inspection before and during filling of such cylinders.
