The purpose of these Regulations is to: (1) Enforce the air quality standards, (2) Prevent air pollution and ecological degradation, (3) Set baseline parameters on air quality and emissions based on a number of practices considerations and acceptable limits, (4) Prescribe general measures for the control of air pollution in all areas including residential and commercial areas, (5) Ensure protection of human health and the environment from various sources of pollution.
