The Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES7093/2014. This Egyptian Standard specifies the essential requirements for safety of toys (mechanical and physical properties, flammability and chemical properties, hygiene, electrical properties and radioactivity). The transitional period is 6 months from 24 February 2014 to 24 August 2014.Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with 2009/48/EC.
