Ministerial Decree  no. 975/2014 mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES 269-2/2014 , this Egyptian Standard supersedes its last edition in 2005 and it specifies materials, properties and methods of testing for unreinforced cement-bound terrazzo tiles which are factory made and sold ready to be placed. The tiles are intended for external use (including roofing applications) in pedestrian areas, e.g. walkways, terraces, commercial centers and swimming-pools, etc, where the decorative aspect of the covering is predominant.This standard complies with EN 13748-2/2004.
