The Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES 1405/2014 , this Egyptian Standard supersedes its last edition in 2008 and it describes Care Labelling Code Using Symbols and overall usage in textile products, care signs, given information for most treatment services which prevent visible damage to the products during the textile care and operations. These symbols cover all household purposes, whether: washing - whitening - drying after washing - ironing - specialized care for textile processors when wet and dry cleaning. They  do not include industrial washing and also cover transmitted information known by washing symbols that help in washing laundry and special cleaning.This standard complies with ISO 3758/2012 Textiles Care Labelling Code Using Symbols.
