This Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES 4609-5/2014 for "Infusion Equipment for Medical Use - P 5: Burette Infusion Sets for Single Use, Gravity Feed", this Egyptian Standard supersedes its last edition in 2005 and it specifies requirements for types of single-use, gravity feed burette infusion sets of 50ml, 100ml and 150ml nominal capacity for medical use in order to ensure compatibility of use with containers for infusion solutions and intravenous equipment.This standard complies with ISO: 8536-5/2004.
