The Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES 262-2/2015.  Producers and importers are given a transitional period of six months. This Standard applies to steel for the reinforcement of concrete.This Egyptian Standard covers the technical requirements for ribbed bars to be used as reinforcement in concrete for ten steel grades not intended for welding. It also applies to ribbed bars produced from finished products, such as plates and railway rails.This standard complies with ISO: 6935-2/2007.
